About the Author

Jennifer Griffin is a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s Degree in Family and Child Development. While going to school, and for several years after, she worked as a nanny and personal assistant for a PGA professional golfer and their family of four.

The Feeling Bag idea was born out of Griffin’s personal experience when she noticed her young daughter was having a hard time dealing with her parents’ divorce. The book was written and the bag was created to bring comfort, guidance, an understanding of feelings, and to demonstrate how she could express those feelings in a healthy way. This creative little duo helped to open up many conversations with her daughter, which allowed her to be able to share what she was experiencing in a fun, comforting and appropriate way.

Currently Griffin resides in Oklahoma with her daughter, Rylee.  She is passionate about her family and friends, loves Clemson Football, coffee ice cream, laughing ‘til your belly hurts, and Buc-ees’s. (Yes, as in the gas station!)

Jennifer is hopeful The Feeling Bag will continue to reach as many kiddos as possible, and will be the tool that helps to provide them with peace, comfort and understanding.
